Why buy or sell your vehicle outside of Canada?

Only one reason: price. You may save money buying a vehicle outside Canada and importing it.

Selling a vehicle outside Canada may allow the seller to command a higher price if the market they are selling in to has a particularly high demand for the make/model the seller is offering. This does add some complexity to the transaction for tasks such as collecting payments and delivering the vehicle.
